Us three with the sweet E girls

Cute, little Makenzie with the "stinkie!"
On Saturday the twenty-third of February , we had our first fundraising garage sale at our grandma's house. We all had a good time, but it involved some really hard work! We got to my grandma's about 5:15 AM. Yes, AM! We just started pulling everything out out of her garage in the dark, and trying to organize it into different piles. After a while, when it was pretty organized, (by then my hands and feet were frozen; it's really cold that early in the morning!) the buyers started coming in. The sale was supposed to start at 7:30, but some people came even earlier! We had so much stuff!! Over 20 families donated items!
We had a little table where we sold homemade chocolate chip cookies, lemons, and homemade doggy treats. Thank you to our creative friends, who helped us make the adorable sign! Some friends stopped by to say hi and see how things were going. Overall it was a very nice turnout. In the end we made about $1,200! (including a few items sold on ebay) We were so blessed by all the people who helped us bring this garage sale about! All of the profits will help us to bring Maylie home!
Thank you to all our friends who donated items, and came to support us!
