St. Patrick's Day is always so fun. We have a special St. Patrick's Day dinner, and everybody thinks Irish and of course wears something green. Maylie, how we wish that you were here to celebrate with us; but you will be here next St. Patrick's Day. This is how our day will be...
You'll hear Mom read Patrick: Patron Saint of Ireland by Tomie dePaola, and for the first time you will hear about St. Patrick, his life, and his ministry. We'll read about how Patrick used the clover to illustrate to the Irish how the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit are separate, yet one.
Then we'll listen to the Adventures In Odyssey episode, Patrick: A Heart Afire (Album 31: Days to Remember). We'll hear Mr. Whittaker tell Jared all about St. Patrick and his call to the ministry.
We'll listen to a little of this...
And we'll have an Irish dinner of corned beef and cabbage...
..With mashed potatoes. Yum!
After dinner, (when you're a little bit older) we'll watch the Irish movie that we watch every St. Patrick's Day: The Secret of Roan Inish 
Finally, we'll finish off with a little of this...and some Irish Bread Pudding. So delicious.
