Happy Independence Day!

The 4th of July celebration this year was especially exciting due to the newest addition to our family. Maylie was very excited and enthusiastic about "America birthday". We celebrated at the S family's house with lots of good food, a pinata and fireworks! Mrs. S had the backyard decorated so beautifully, and the kids had a blast.

This year was Maylie and Hudson's first 4th of July as U.S. citizens!

For those who wanted a healthier alternative instead of candy, there were a few carrots provided by Esther.

Before dessert, the kids sang "Happy Birthday" to America, followed by "God Bless America".
