Maylie decided to have some rice crispies for her third course
...using chopsticks...
She got one!
A walk down the street to the RT-Mart
Dried pork or duck anyone?
How about eels?
Maybe some frogs or turtles for soup?
Naw, we opted for french fries and ice cream.....
that is except Lily. We had our guide, Jenny ask
Lily if she'd had ice cream before. She said yes she
had. Well, I think she didn't quite understand the
question, because when Lily tasted a bite of her ice
cream she started crying (screaming) and didn't
want to swallow. The coldness must have given her
quite a shock! Steve's thinking she'll soon change
her views on this dairy treat after a little while at
home.

LOVE the girls' cute matchiness!! Evie spit out her ice cream today, too... we have to teach these cuties about the good stuff! :)
Praying for each of you! XO
Oh how I miss the sights and sounds of China. It sort of beckons you once you are gone. What fun!
None of my littles ever liked ice cream that much when we first got them but usually by the end of Guangzhou, they loved it. LOL SO glad you all are doing so well!!! XOXO
Does Maylie remember China? Do any of the caretakers remember Maylie? She has such a wonderful gift of love and charity!
Through the photos, Lily appears to be taking it all in. She seems fascinated and curious and happy!
We pray that your are refreshed and cherishing each moment!
Thank you for the posts...we are with you each step of the way!
Know that our love is with you, too! ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥
Love Always, Dad/Grandpa and Nannette ~*~
Oh the sites of China! Brings back lots of memories! Enjoy your last few days in Lily's province! Continually praying for each of you!
I'm really enjoying your updates! Wishing I was there too. ;)
Our kids had a hard time at first with ice-cream, but they love it now!
Have a great day!!
I feel so blessed to get to follow your journey. You can tell that Maylie is a proud big sister. Vivi has a gray striped dress a lot like what the girls are wearing and Viv looked at the picture, pointed to Maylie and ask....Mom, is this ME?? HA HA!
I love all your photos! Thanks for sharing your journey.
